Consultation
The journey begins with an on-site consultation to discuss your aspirations and ideas. This initial meeting helps establish a clear project brief, forming the foundation for your design.
Survey & Brief
Before developing any conceptual layouts, a topographical survey of the existing property is conducted. This precise data combines with your agreed brief to anchor the design phase.
Detailed Design Plan
The detailed design plan illustrates the complete layout of your new garden. Once this spatial framework is agreed, we shift our focus to specifying the exact materials and planting proposed.
3D Computer Model
For larger or more complex designs, a digital three-dimensional model can be developed. This helps you to visualise the spatial flow and scale of the design before construction begins.
Choosing a suitable landscaper
Tender Process
Typically, two to three independent, skilled contractors are invited to tender for the build. I can organise the paperwork, allowing us to compare quotations and timescales.
Construction Drawings
These drawings show the precise dimensions and materials required for each major feature. Paired with the specification document, they provide the blueprint for the on-site team.
Specification Documents
This document details every element of the landscaping, including materials and build standards. It outlines general requirements for site conduct, ensuring a high quality of work.
Monitoring Service
Once a landscape contractor is selected, I am able to monitor the build on your behalf. Regular site visits and consistent contact with all parties ensure your project is a success.
